To top it off, turn-based strategy game fans were thrilled to hear about an all-new studio being run by the Doom and XCOM designers, which have joined forces to bring even more strategic fun to the ever-growing genre.

The most memorable event of February was, of course, Elden Ring. Touted as one of the top FromSoftware games of all time, the RPG game quickly rose to the top of the charts, requiring players from across the globe to recreate the item of the title.
